two decades 2010, a year to come. a year i want to do even better academically. a year i want to be more concerned about my brother. a year i want to spend more time with my YY & NN & AM. a year i want to treasure the people around me. a year i want to learn to save. a year i want to be better than the previous. its 2010. one year ago, on this day, I posted this. one year later, on this day, I think back about how much I've achieved. Proud to say I've gone a little further than I thought. The HK trip actually bonded me with YY & NN more, I've did all I can for my studies, I've managed to hang in there for a year, I've worked and saved and am going into my first official investment, made a decision w/o being wavered, it's indeed better this year. I cannot be more thankful for every single person who has helped me along the way. It wasn't that an easy year. I may have cried more than I've laughed, fell faster than I could have rised, but what matters is being able to overcome them. Typing this, feeling more blissful and stronger than ever, it's the end-product of everyone who has played a part in my life in 2010. The parents, the girls (Jessie, Bird, Swixx, Novell), Eli love, Debbie shopping-nagging partner, the bestest, the BBFs, the listening ear Marcus, and soooo many more. 2010, is going end great for everyone, I'm sure. 20th.  And so, the dreaded 20th. I didn't want to grow old so I slept through my countdown so I didn't need to remind myself of growing old haha. Watched BFB that made me laugh super alot before going to Eli's hse to play with yogilove! :D Trained down to Somerset for lunch at Marche :D  The drink that I spilled all over the table while trying to open it. haha Rosti, mushroom, minced beef pizzaWe caught Meet The Fockers - Little Fockers after that! The show is awesomely funny!! I think I laughed through the whole moviee! I so wanna watch the other parts of the movie! haha Met up with the BBFs for dinner at our usual place ((:  My mini birthday cake :DI insisted on 1 candle coz the other candle didn't have the pokeypokey thing haha! :P Super love the guys!! :D I even drove the guys home in Tong's car. It's a damn awesome feeling coz I've never driven anyone around except my parents & bro! haha it totally made my 20th awesommmmeeee!!  My small collection of presents today (: Angbows from mummy & gugu, name keychain from Tong, Mr Bean tumblr & owl ring from myself, $20 vouchers from Sathish & Peiyi, Card & invisible present from Eli, YOG & see-fold towel from Seow! I love my friends! I love my BBFs! Grateful for them all! ((: /edit: I bid goodbye to my birthday on the phone with the bestest accompanying him doing his work. The 16-men adventure Day 1  The HK arrival hall. Mummy & me before we boarded the plane (:  Us all, waiting for the Airport Express The Airport Express is damn spacious! they even have this area where you can store your luggage so you can have space ard the sitting area.Not like S'pore MRT where you see all those foreigners standing in front of the door with their luggages, major obstruction.  Our hotel room - Royal Plaza Hotel! 1 queen size bed which I shared with mummy, and a single bed for Daddy. Bro slept in my super comfy heated sleeping bag! haha.After settling down, it was  Dinner at some random shop near our hotel. We were supposed to go to this restuarant at Langham Place, but YY couldn't walk that far after all that stairs we went down, so this was it.Me loved the wanton & the porridge! But I had the pig liver noodles, which the noodle was super yummy, but the liver was yucks boo ):  Shopping at Langham Place (H&M) after that! ehh disappointing lehhs. I got nothing there. mostly winter wear which isn't quite practical in S'pore eh. haha.Walked ard the streets, got super yummy mango blend from a random bubble tea shop before heading back to the hotel (: Day 2  We met at 7am and walked to the breakfast shop near our hotel. And the shop wasn't even open yet! We spent like 15mins waiting outside the shop. Breakfast place. They serve damn awesome porridge & chee cheong fun. We had it on the last day too! haha. The chee cheong fun wrapped with youtiao is the bombbbz! I can eat like manymanymany of it w/o getting sick of it! haha Walked back to the hotel to pass YY & NN their breakfast. Then it was Disneyland!! :D  In the Disneyland train. I still got super fascinated by those Mickey decos even though I've seen them so many times in pictures. haha. They even have small statues la! The deco is just so consistent! :D Tickets to Disneyland!  The surfing Mickey that greeted us! :DMy uncle asked me not to put the photo of me and bro up, in case ppl mistakes him as my boyfriend LOL.   The Disney Castle (:Super love the photo of YY & NN (: YY is so seldom agreeable to taking photos coz he says they're old and that they don't need to take so many photos anymore haha  Along the Main Street! All those vintage-y buildings omg. Damn prettty!! :D I wanna live inside them may I? First ride: Buzz Lightyears.You sit in this car thingy and use those laser guns to shot at targets! haha. Foolproof! I love those aliens though. They look damn cute ^^  Second Ride: Space Mountain.The only rollercoaster in Disneyland! haha. I took it the first round and the pics with my uncle! I swear its damn shiok. haha There aren't many sharp drops, more of sharp turns which are so sharp you can feel your body falling slightly off. And its the kind where its dark but there're those decos on the ceiling and its kindda pretty! haha (: The pic's of those who took on the second round haha. I'm surprised my bro took it a second time coz he is damn scaredy cat!   It's a SmallSmall World! haha Super love the castles and everything! And the ride along the river was so enchanting! Those decos at the side were so real and intricately designed! They even have hanging decos from the ceiling! Pretty (: Pooh's adventure. Sit in a Hunnypot and travel through Pooh's world! haha. Super woowoah coz me loves Pooooh! haha :D Poooooooh ♥  Minnie ♥imma going to print this outtt!  Tigger ♥ Mickey's so popular, the queue to take piccies with him was soooooo long we didn't have time to queue for a pic with him! ): I want to go back just to take a photo with him!!!  Then, it was the "Let It Snow" Parade. Those floats are sooooo pretty!! And the performers were soooo interactive! I cannot wait to wash out the pics I took with my film camera. Bet they're sooo colourful!! :D Went on to watch many shows after that! The shows are so damn enchanting!! I could watch them 10x over and not get tired of it!! Had dinner and it was nighttime alr ):  It was "snowing" over at the main street!! Those fake snow la and it was damn small only!! ): I expected those super real kind coz the advertisement I saw made it look so magical boo. But if you look at the sky it's quite pretty la haha.And the most magical ending    PRETTY NOTTTTTT!? Its damn colourful and special! It's not those alot of shapes or what, but its the colours and the way the fireworks "interact" that's super wonderful! It's manymany times better than S'pore! haha Plus the Castle right in the middle of all the fireworks, omg dreamy!!!! And it was hotel sweet hotel. Precedence  New pair of Everlast shoes. New camera pouch + lonely ugly dolly. Food shifted from NN's fridge. Packing. My first week of holidays is almost over ): It's been a rather good week I gotta say. Shopping with the cousins on Monday got me aching everywhere, with a hole in my pocket. Then Tuesday was cheesecake-day and mission-day which was super productive. Kindda pleased with the outcome of the product ^^ Met the bestest on Wednesday ((: And yest was shopping and pigging at Sakae Sushi with the love :D Today's slight slacking with more packing and shifting. I cannot wait for HK coz I can finally go to Disneyland. Other than that, I want to stay in S'pore can? I don't want to go & freeze. I don't want to leave my habits in S'pore. I don't want to spend so many consecutive days with extended family. I love my S'pore slacking holidays yo! haha. You make me happy and I'm glad. Its been a crazy mugging week and I cannot be more glad that it's finally over. It was no easy feat to get through 5 consecutive papers with more than 5 chapters per module. But oh wells, MSTs ARE OVERRRRR!! :D And I'm so really glad that the bestest was there to keep me going. I would have died without the peptalks every night ♥ Caught Rapunzel with the girls today and it's high up on my list of best movies! It's a typical disney cartoon movie but yet not that typical. The graphics were awesomeeee! Loved it super loads! ((: I've got 2 awesomeee buys to note down hereee heh.  This necklace's kindda awesome. I haven't been buying accessories of any sort these many years and this is kindda dope. Inspired by HoH and damn versatile! Gonna bring it to HK :D How I got this necklace is complicating, so I shall keep it between me and my girl haha  I just got this today while we were waiting for the movie to start. I just felt so fascinated by it that I decided to just get it, since it was only $12 with one free roll of film! Hee Film cameras are so old school and so cool!! It's those that you need to turnturnturn before you take a photo. And the surprise element is there coz you never know how the photos will turn out till you develop it. haha. Gonna try use 1 roll of film (24pics) and develop them before I bring it to HK so I know how my pics will turn out! I was so excited about getting it that I msged the bestest immediately. Madmadmad happy!! :D And I wanna get the other film camera in Minitoons also!! its the 3-lense one!! 1 subject, 3 pictures!! but its $19.90 w/o film. SPONSORS ANYONEEEE? I'm looking forward to the coming 2 weeks!! :D Family dinner, shopping, meeting with awesome friends, and most of all, HONGKONG!!! so eggcited. volcano I've got this huge amount of stress beneath me that could explode anything. And the piles of notes and books behind me are not of much help. It kindda sucks, this feeling ): And I've only got memories of Thrusday to keep pushing me forward. Next Friday to pull me forward. God please bless me. I need to get through this week.
