Instagram & the Kitchen

Somethings you should know

1. Instagram is still my No. 1 fav Camera App.

2. My new fav place in my house, apart from my sofa, & bed is the kitchen.

3. My mummy's very expensive wok-set is awesumzshitxz, such that it acts like my new toy, the oven.

4. My parents are secretly glad of my new hobby, & I got a new present in lieu of my new hobby.

Its a electric mixer yo! :D haha. Was talking to mum about it one day, and she got it the next day! Saves me developing arm aches! hohoho

But its damn nice I think, jx-the-chocolate-madman, says the chocolate part is damn shiok, & idk where the cheese part went la, feels like the cheese part shrank and left it's baby in the cake. hahaha.

5. Having a bf makes you fat.

One of the many good meals the boy has brought me to. Pig organ's soup at Lavender. Shiokness. Loads of good food I've tried! Shall take photos of them next time! (:

6. I've never done a scrap-card, & I did it once.

round & round

Sundays feel so lazy, especially when you've been doing anything but slack the days before.

Work has been going rather well (: Helps that I'm doing something familiar, and the people I'm working with are familiar (: But this time round, it comes with more responsibilities, more job scope, more boredom.

Every morning is just a race to beat the crowd to the toilet to change, then looking fwd to lunch, and then looking fwd to changing out, and meeting sillyboy & the guys halfway, then training home. Routine much? haha And I always cannot wait for Fridays, coz it's dinner with the BBFs (:

& so, a break from routine came from meeting Eli for dinner + shopping at Tampines! (:

DTF for dinner! (: 小菜, 小笼包, Fried Rice with Pork Chop, Noodles with dumplings. All cleaned by the 2 of us! :D Gluttony very much ><

& to work off dinner, we shopped. It was an accessories major haul! Combed the accessories shops in the 3 malls! :D We both went major crazy at Minibits! haha

Let's see. 3 necklaces, 2 rings, 5 bracelets (2 BFFs bracelets) for the both of us! :D think we easily spent close to 80 that day! haha madness!

& these are all my property! :D Uber love the bracelets I got from Minibits! Fit me super well and ended up getting the white & black! such a hogger!! :D Did I mention that I got a new ring from DIVA last week too! haha.

Looks like I gotta clear and sort my accessories and get new ones sooon! (:

Went out shopping with the sillyboy yest! :D I am the pro to convert the carnivore into a omnivore! :D and sillyboy's a Soup Spoon fan naoooos!! :DD More soups to come! Weeeee~

My loots for yesterday! :D G2000 top on sale for only $16! (: and my Pierre Cardin seamless undies! (: I managed to get my undies cheapppp coz the cashier charged me wrongly, and wahaha, 3 for $18 (supposedly 3 for $36)! ^^ Can start wearing my tank dress alr! :D

Am still waiting for my Topshop knickers from the boy! hahahaha!

Ok very random post! Am gonna nuaaaa, and head out with the family!

Twenty-first

Yesterday was Daddy & Mummy's 21st wedding anniversary so we went out for good food.

Dinner was at Amici, Authentic Italian Restaurant over at Holland V. The sales person came over to office on Wed to promote their so-called 'VIP card' which entitled us to get 1-For-1 Main Course. And i stupidly parted with my $29.90 for that card :X

Reservation highly recommended because you wouldn't be able to get seats even if you go there early. We saw more than 2 groups of people being rejected coz the restaurant was full on reservations. And even with reservations, we were sitted right at the back of the restaurant.
No that the restaurant is very, infact, its very small for a restaurant.

As you can seeee, it was super dark at where we were sitted, near the back door. The front was brightly lighted though. Open kitchen concept but you'd be surprised that there isn't the strong smell that you'd get from food courts.

The service was rather good i have to say. Ice water was topped up quickly, bill came quickly, food came quickly. And they allowed us to redeem the free wine takeaway (supposed to be consumed in the restaurant only).

Char-grilled Mixed Platter $34.90 (Bro's)

Came with a salad, mashed potata, 2 huge prawns, salmon and chicken. The chicken was slightly over-grilled and had abit of the chao-ta taste. Bro said the prawns were good with the sauce, but the salmon was horrible - overcooked and had the strong fish taste.

Merluzzo Al Forno Con Burro alle Erbe $31.90 (Dad's)

Basically its oven-baked black cod fillet crusted with butter herbs. Haha. Daddy said its was good, but i felt that the portion was quite small for the price.

Spaghetti Aglio Olio E pepechino Con Granchi $24.90 (Mum's)

Crab meat pasta tossed with garlic, olive oil and spur chilli. I recommended this to mummy coz I read reviews saying this was rather good. Mummy felt that it was a tad too dry and there wasn't alot of crab meat. I find it ok though, haha, though i don't really like Aglio Olio styled pastas. Bro and Dad loved it. Would say it's worth a try if you like Aglio Olio? (:

Spaghetti Nero Di Calamari E Merluzzo $20.90 (Mine)

Pasta with squid ink and fried cod. Disclaimer: Never eat this if you're planning to go out after dinner unless you want to spend 10 mins in the toilet trying to rid your teeth off the ink.
But I liked my pasta alottttt, over mum's one. It tastes better than the Pasta de Waraku one. Sweeter, more squid and the cod was crispy. and the pasta was just the way i liked it! The sauce was abit too much and somehow i managed to spash it on the tablecloth haha.

Our bill turned out to be more expensive than we expected, coz they used the 2 $30+ dish to tabulate the bill. I always thought they'd charge the $34.90 (free $31.90) and $24.90 (free $20.90) dishes, at least that's what Swenson's does, but nah, so dinner was still quite ex and I'd rather go elsewhere got better food with that bill.

I guess the next time I go, which I will coz I want to utilise the card, I'll just stick to the pasta and maybe the pizza.

I haven't been updating much coz my life's really boring and I only use the comp on weekends.

Went out the most number of times after work last week. Monday with dear for dinner at Ikea, Wednesday with the class for PTN at Suntec Swenson's, Thrusday with 22 to celebrate Candy & Lyn's birthday at Marina Square's Pizza Hut.

Oh and I went to JB with my family last Saturday for shopping but only daddy ended up with a pair of shoes. We spent mostly on food and groceries. Heh.

And my new favourite snack!!

MR POTATO RICE CRISPS!! :D It looks like potato chips but it's healthier (20% less fat) and doesn't leave that aftertaste that potato chips leaves me with!! :D

2 more weeks of work left I cannot wait! Cannot wait for that 1 week break I'm giving myself before school starts. And I realised that since I started working, I've become closer to mummy, idk why. Maybe its coz i always complain to her about work and we talk more frequently. haha. And since bro's having this holidays, I've been going over to NN's hse for dinner regularly and growing fatfat (as said by jx). But i'm happy coz i love NN's food! :D shall lose the weight when school starts!! :P

I've been quite a happy girl these days and I'm happy that I'm happy so I'm happy. Thank you!! :D

I last had this with Shuhuan on my birthday last year and we had it again yesterday!! ((: It's yumyums, but the bowl of rice cost 1freakingbuck and I forced myself to finish 3/4 of it coz I couldn't bear to waste that 1freakingbuck haha.

Saw this on Tues with Eli, but the person was telling me that there wasn't anymore small sizes so I didn't bother asking for my size. Then when I went with Shuhuan, she so tempted me to buy so I asked and I only managed to get it a size smaller, but it fits snugly so I got it! :D
Love it loadddds coz its so versatile and pretty!! ((:

Folio Sandals
I love Folio sandals coz they're so damn lasting. My current pair of sandals is like 1 year old and counting and still surviving well. I locked this up in the shoe cupboard alr, so I won't be tempted to wear it till school starts, unlike my CnK slippers which I said the same thing but I've worn it a million times alr hahaha.
And its a steal at $17.90! I got my previous sandals for like close to 30? and I like how the thick and thin straps contrast niceeeee ((:

Motorcycle Shades! I have no idea why I bought it but haha, it's pretty and not really the usual square/circle/oval shape shades people have :P

Randoms:

Me loves this maxi like crazyyy. I've tried it twice, twice I was tempted to buy, but it's like 35bucks and I'm not that ready to spend 35bucks on a maxi which i will wear for less than 10times? Plus Shuhuan says that it looks ok only, and arghhhs haha.
But it's really freaking lovee. I mean, it's so difficult to find a maxi to fit my height and this falls finee, with slippers at that. And it's like a braided T-back, and I'm a sucker for T-backs!! ANYONE WANTS TO SPONSOR MEEEEEEE?
